The Story of Let’s Play Games and Toys
Lee and Nicole Wiegand bring several years’ prior experience as retailers in the hobby game industry to Let’s Play Games and Toys. We’re putting everything we’ve learned in the last few years into making this the best place to play games in Great Falls.
Our hope is that we have built a place in this community where people can get together, play games, have fun, and meet other people who want to play games. We’ve worked hard to start a community where our customers can feel like this is their home away from home. We’re happiest when the store is full of people gaming and everyone is having a great time. Anyone regardless of age, gender, orientation, etc. should feel welcome at Let’s Play Games and Toys. If that isn’t happening, we aren’t doing what we set out to do.
We are doing this so that Great Falls has some place that offers a choice of activity where you can interact with other people face to face. We now also buy and sell retro games and consoles. We want families, friends, strangers, and anyone really, to sit down together at a table, play a game, and enjoy the experience and each other’s company. We strongly feel that is something lacking in today’s society.
Our dream is that we can continue to grow the local gaming community, that we continue to add to the services we offer our customers, that we can get involved in the schools and other community groups through games, and to continue putting games in the hands of people that weren’t aware that games besides Monopoly, Scrabble, etc. exist and show them just how much fun those games can be.
We have a lot to offer the community as it is. We offer opening gaming (it’s free!) where you can have us teach you or your group any of the hundreds of games available in our library, board game rentals in case you want to play in the comfort of your own home, fun annual events, and knowledge. We know our product extremely well and can make great game recommendations based on a little information from our customers.
